According to preliminary data, received Ukravtopromom from German colleagues from VDA, in July the market of new cars of Germany has fallen on 18% concerning the last month and on 30% concerning July of last year. In total following the results of seven months Germans have bought on 29% of less cars, than year before. The reason for that absence this year a government program of recycling of old cars which has effectively supported a German car market last year.

The forecast for the automobile industry: the world production will increase in 1,5 times, leaders will not change.
Last year, the world automobile industry produced 57,2 mln. of motor vehicles in the whole (motor cars and commercial motor cars on its basis). This was the worst result since 2002. The production decreased by 13% or 9 mln. items, in comparison with the year 2008.

As FINANCIAL TIMES reports, Silvio Berlusconi, centre-right prime minister, on Friday stepped into the storm provoked by Fiat’s decision to switch production from Turin to Serbia by saying the Italian carmaker was free to choose its locations but that he hoped it would not hurt Italian industry.
