The Boryspol automotive plant was founded in April 2002 in the structure of the corporation “Etalon”. Already in the October 2002 the first bus went off from the conveyor. The plant itself and its produce have been certified. The plant has introduced the quality management system ²S0 9001, this is why the quality control is very strict on all the stages of production. Every bus undergoes up to 50 various kinds of tests, among them are proving ground, road and stand tests. The produce is exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and other countries.The Boryspol automotive plant is a modern independent production, where more than 1 000 employees are engaged. The production and stock areas of the plant cover over 19 000 sq. m. In 2006 there were 1 560 buses of different modifications produced; and for the 11 months of 2007 - 1 887 buses. Today the plant produces more than 170 buses per month and has the capacities that allow to make 2 000 buses per year. The rates of production are constantly growing. The plant produces buses of ten modifications, cooperating with the scientific-research institute of automobile building “Etalon” that united about 60 leading engineers with great expertise in designing buses. The Boryspol automotive plant is wholly Ukrainian project. The high qualification of the specialists of the Boryspol automotive plant allows to prepare design documentation in a short period of time and to manage a serial production of any motor-car vehicle. The spare parts from sheet iron and section tubes are made on high-quality lathes Bystronic and Trumpf. After welding in the shop the bodies of buses go through the process of three-layer painting. The metal undergoes anti-corrosion processing using the technology of zincing; due to this the body remains protected for the next five years. This kind of painting is in line with the highest world standards. From the painting shop a body goes to the assembly shop, where it is mounted on the chassis. Here the electronic equipment is installed, the floor is laid, the inner covering of the roof is fixed and the seats are placed. Then the bus moves to the stand testing of the breaks and test-drive. The plant bears a significant social and budget load. The salaries for 2006 were paid 14 559 137 UAH; and for 11 months of 2007 - 17 600 747 UAH. In all the taxes, duties and obligatory payments into the state budget in 2006 counted 25 756 738 UAH. The plant does not stop its development and continues to make new prospective models, among them being a city bus with 69 passengers’ seats, commuter modification on the base of the Chinese chassis FAW. The BAZ buses have been repeatedly marked by diplomas: at the 11th International motor show SIA-2003 in Kyiv – diploma “For the best small-sized school bus BAZ 2215 “Schoolboy”; diploma “For the best bus BAZ 3203 “Edelveys”; at the International specialized exhibition-presentation “Autobus 2004” in Kyiv - diploma to the Maker of the bus BAZ 2215 “As to the best one for organization of school transportation; at the 12th International motor show SIA-2004 – diploma “For the dynamic development of the buses “Etalon”; at the 8th Moscow international motor show MIMS-2004 – diploma “The best bus of the smaller class BAZ 3202 “Edelveys”; diploma “For the best model line of smaller class buses; the first place at the nomination “The best city bus of the middle class” was given to BAZ À411 “Roxolana”; at the 13th International motor show SIA-2005 the plant received diploma “For the best bus SIA-2005” - BAZ-À 079.30; in the all-Ukrainian rating programme “Gvardia” - certificate “Takes a leading position in the market”. www.baz.kiev.ua |
