Company Skoda plans to expand the modelling ruler at the expense of cabriolet Fabia. For this purpose the motor-car manufacturer needs to meet with approval from the owner - concern Volkswagen, informs UBR with the reference edition De Telegraaf. 

In case of the positive decision, the new car will construct on a platform of future cabriolet Audi A1. As journalists of a portal autoevolution have assumed, the car with open top will be equipped with the 1,2-litre diesel motor capacity of 75 horsepowers which is offered now as a variant for hatchback Fabia. Besides, in the future there can be cabriolet Fabia RS with 1.4-liter turbocharged engine capacity of 180 horsepowers.
