In 2009 the foreign trade turnover of Ukraine regarding vehicles has made almost $1,5 billion from which export on a share it was necessary only $244 million. Thus, trade in cars has increased negative balance of trading balance of Ukraine more than on $1 billion biggest "contribution" to formation of negative balance of autotrade was given by trade in cars – a minus of $808’655 th. 

In an automobile segment the currency greatest quantity has been spent for purchase of cars in Japan – $298’187 (from 935’082 thousand automobile cars spent for all import).
Germany was the leader on purchase cargo and special vehicles past year. In this country importers of trucks have spent $82 million, and special equipment import has managed to Ukraine in $18,6 million. In total cargo and special vehicles Ukraine has spent for purchase more than $288 million.
From $27 million spent for purchase of buses, about 30 % are listed the Russian manufacturers.
The currency gain of Ukraine, at the expense of trade on foreign markets production of own car industry has made, as it was marked above, $244 million Here the basic source of currency receipts was an automobile segment.
At the expense of sale of cars Ukraine has earned in 2009 more than $126 million. Manufacturers of trucks and a special equipment realised production abroad on 105,7 million dollars. The bus segment of the Ukrainian car industry, despite a stop of the several enterprises, has managed to earn on foreign markets about 12 million US dollars.
